About Us
MR Planners was founded by two partners, one an architect and one a cabinet maker.
Mike and Roger = MR Planners
Since 1975 we have worked on over 4,300 major projects and renovations, not including countless other services. Roger's son, John Eisenmann, now owns and operates the business and has his family working alongside him.
Our downtown Decatur building has a bit of history as well. Some can remember when it was a bowling alley. Dance hall, Shooting range in the basement, Flower shop on the corner, and those with a further memory think of this place as the old horse stable which had an underground route to the river to water the horses.
The MR Planners family believes in making not only your home nicer but also the community a better place to live. We have partnered with organizations like The Hope Clinic, which provides services to families and mothers of unplanned pregnancies. We support the local Unfailing Love Clinic, Love INC, and Swiss Heritage Village in Berne, and the orphan supporting ministry of Loving Shepherd Ministries in Bluffton. We also support local charity, and police and benefits. If you have a need for a silent auction item, we try to keep items on hand for this use. If you stop by during the Kekionga Festival or Side walk sales, you will see fun things for kids down at our end of the street. We are also a member of the Decatur Chamber of Commerce.
John Eisenmann
Owner
John is the owner and president of MR Planners. He has been working here since 1977. He designs and plans kitchens and remodeling projects. He coordinates all jobs and will help make sure your projects run smoothly.
Trudy Eisenmann
Trudy is the vice president. She operates our appliance stock and designs our marketing system, and purchases stock plumbing and carpentry supplies.
Mission Statement: Mr Planners specialty since 1975 is the value of design of the kitchen, bath or window remodel. We acknowledge that our customers want a good value and quality construction that add value to the home. We strive to keep good relations with God first, and with customers, our employees, our families and the community.
Andrew Eisenmann
Andrew is another designer and helps give prices for kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and countertops.
LouAnn Kaehr
Takes care of our accounts and billing department. She is the wife of Keith Kaehr and the two of them served for many years in our Adams County 4-H.
Brad Roe
Brad is also a lead carpenter and part time volunteer firefighter. He does great work and is great at getting your job done.
Wesley Connelly
Erika Eisenmann
Erika works as our office support, writes our blog and customer service.
Brian Lovell
Brian is a lead carpenter. He has an eye for detail and performs quality workmanship, and communicating about questions on the work site.
Anthony Onyeke
Anthony takes care of the billing, and appliance and shipping receiving department
